15th Anniversary at Sasana Ramsi Vihara

Dear family and friends,

I got some news for you. This year 2018 is the 15th year that our magnificent Big Sitting Buddha statue has been at this residence.

On 03/03/18 we are going to celebrate this 15th Anniversary at Sasana Ramsi Vihara, 83 Booth Road, London, Colindale, NW9 5JU.

You all are cordially invited to join us in this celebration event.

It was because of you all, who have contributed your effort, energy and donations to make this place a suitable place for this big Buddha statue to reside. It was really a very hard work, physically extremely laborious, digging the ground, laying the concrete foundation and using a big crane to lift the carry the Buddha statute over the roof of the house and place it at the present place. It must be an exciting and satisfying moment for those who involved in this project to see that all your efforts and energy paid off.

The Buddha statute weighs 10 tons and the height is 8feet. This Buddha statute travelled to this residence through the skyway as He has to lifted by a big crane. The statute is surrounded by 108 small Buddha statutes sitting in the background. The amazing Buddha statute was crafted from one big marble stone by the craftsmen in Mandalay, Myanmar. It is magnificent, beautifully crafted and it is huge; but He is warm and welcoming and He is smiling on you when you look at Him. He is very peaceful and calm, radiating loving kindness and Serene. People claimed that just sitting in front of Him was so tranquil and if they really put their faith in Him and made a wish, they found that their wishes were fulfilled. You can also come and try this.
